How to make glowing rims?

Setting the money you would spend on those rims on fire would be a better use of the money in my opinion!

couldn't add the lollipops... but needs them, and a McD's sign to finish it off!

what photoshop toll did you use for the neons? i need it for something im doing and havent worked it out......it will be right in front of me as usual :P

no "tool".. just elipse shape and brush.

basically, you select the area for the "outer glow" and paint it the colour you want (neon green in this example).
then, set that layer to be a "hard light" layer.

that gives the base glow.

then, using the elipse shape, draw a few smaller and smaller elipses directly under the car, again setting the light to hard light.
the final, top elipse should be white, as this gives the massive "shine".

if that doesn't make any sense.. I'll try and do a "howto" for it :D

yeah makes sense.... i thought you might have used the dodge tool or something similar.

i told you, right infront of me :P
