How to get more space on an android phone?

Hi all -i have a Samsung Galaxy Ace which keeps giving me the message internal phone storage is getting low,i have deleted as many apps as i can and i have a 8gb sd card,i have tried installing apps that enable apps to be moved to the sd card but dont seem to work,any ideas chaps?-thanks
 
I was looking at this for a friend. You're doing the right thing which is moving apps to the SD card. Check that your photos, music and other media are storing on the card and not the phone too.

Not sure if any of the bloatware apps the carrier installs can be removed?
 
As above, move apps to external storage, kill all the live processes, I recall this being an issue on another phone of mine and it being a specific app causing the grief..

Google may help you..

Thanks mate-the pics and music are on the phone, apparantly i need an app that enables the media to be moved to the sd card but i have tried a couple that dont seem to work-i wish the option was on the phone :headbang:
