How to for rear pads and discs change?

Completed the front pads and discs change last week without any major problems.

Is there a how to anywhere for rear pads and discs change? Not sure if it is going to be as simple as the front due to the parking brake. Is it just a case of releasing the parking brake or is it a little more challenging than that?

When I did mine, I'd seen various comments that it would be a good time to changed the parking brake shoes etc... It turned out to be a massive hassle: beside the fact that the pagid shoes I bought were a terrible fit and couldn't be used, adjusting the parking brake can be a right faff because there's a hard to get to retaining spring under the handbrake lever, plus the wheel hub adjusters which you adjust blind by poking a screwdriver through a wheel bolt hole...
In my opinion, if the shoes are in ok condition and you can get the drums off by just releasing the lever, leave it alone if you can.
Apart from that it's much the same as the front.

Nice one mate. Not got plans to change the shoes, just the pads and discs.

So just lowering the handbrake lever should allow the discs to come off?

Oops, sorry, didn't see you last post there... Hope you're sorted now, but for me, yeah, handbrake down and a bit of a wiggle was enough as I recall.
