Hola anybody able to shed any light on fitting new black kidney grills ? Do they juxt pull out? Thanks

They do take a bit of a 'scary' tug though - get your fingers round the bottoms of a spoke at either end and give it a proper good sharp yank. When you put the new ones in push firmly all round the edges so they click into place properly. Once you've done it you'll find it easy next time. I take mine out every time I wash the car

Of course, the ///M ones are so unique, not like the other E85/E86 ones... Are they more fragile, or just that little bit special? ;)

Found squeezing some of the fins inward whilst pulling from the bottom and sort of using the top edge as a hinge to lever them out worked well.

I would lift a little to get the bottom retainer clips free as you pull out, then the upper sections release easily. Once done you'll see how it is retained and it becomes a lot easier - as with most things!

Bings right it needs a scary pull at first though!

:driving:

I got a pheasant to remove one of mine. It did the job very quickly and cleanly although the silly bugger then dropped it under my wheel.

Unfortunately the pheasant wasn't around to help me fit the replacement, but it just clicked in. :D
