How to fit dashcam to a convertible????

Anyone fitted a dashcam to their soft top Z? I bought one without it even crossing my mind that I couldn't run it down the headliner.

If so, what's the process?
 
If I remember I'll take a picture of mine later, most mount theirs on the glass behind the rear view mirror so it is not visible from the driver's seat.
 
Along the top of the windscreen under the plastic cover and down the A pillar like in any car :?
 
Im going to buy on this just reminded to get one lol i fit a dab ariel a while back :thumbsup: Looking at getting a Transcend drive pro 200. Seems to have the best review
 
Not an actual dashcam, but fitted my nikon actioncam with a simple suction pad on the dash.
Remove or install within seconds and fairly steady.
