how to check which light is out.

Hi everyone. I've got a 2008 e85.

I've got a light bulb out warning light on the dash but can't find any bulbs out. Is there a way to get the car to display which bulb it thinks is the problem?

Thanks!

Running LED by any chance?

I haven't changed anything yet. Definitely the face-lift version and it seems like it's the stock halo light. Unsure if they have been changed to leds or not.

I had this happen regularly on a 2008 E92. No bulbs out but warning would come up intermittently.

If not an LED problem check all connectors are tight and check for corrosion in the connectors. Most probably a bad connection somewhere.

A lot of people change out the regular bulbs to LED. After a time the resistors go bad and give you a bulb warning light on the dash.

Just need to check each bulb and as above if not LED

the problem is the car checks the bulbs when cold and warm, if a bulb is failing it can through a light on the dash, even when its lit. check numberplate bulbs and indicators as they are the most common.

So a front park light just blew. So I assume the warning light was coming from car know it was going to go. I've pulled it out but Holy that was a bit of a mission! Had to take the bulb housing out because the bulb is stuck in that little black plastic housing.
