How to change km/l to mpg on dash 03 z4

Budman5201, I've tried researching this and came up blank....
I think you are going to need to make a trip to your local BMW dealer to get this sorted... :driving:

WLH is right, by the look of it...
"The units of the selected on-board computer functions are shown on the LC display (l/100 km, km/l, mls/gal US or mls/gal UK) according to the coding."

Couldn't see anything in the internal test functions (although am mostly watching the Ashes - currently 208-8 :D )

Have a look at the FAQ sticky on general discussion - there is a link to the hidden functions on the OBC on there.

I'd find a local indi, see if they can recode, likely to be cheaper and you may as well get them to do any other functions while they're in there.

couldn't find it there though?

It was just a suggestion... long shot really. Spent too much time watching the cricket and was running late for work, so didn't check it myself. I think if we have a good first session tomorrow morning, get settled in and don't lose an early wicket we should have put up a good total. Bring home the Ashes boys

Weird that on a satnav system you can change it using the menus and on non satnav you can't???

thanks guys. I'll try a Bmw NON dealer repair facility here in AZ. I agree should be a TON cheaper than the dealer.

I got an app for my Android phone in the meantime that converts l/100km to mpg. Its not exact, but it give me a general idea.

Cruising on the freeway, and playing with the cruise Up or down. If i go about 63 mpg on level ground I got it say between 6.2 and 6.8 consistently which is awesome! :driving:
