How to Adhere Manual Shift Knob

Hey guys,

My 5 speed shift knob is loose and easily rotates and lifts off. What kind of adhesive would you recommend? Epoxy? I don't want something that would be impossible to take off in the future, but it needs to be strong enough to keep the damn thing from spinning around.

Use silicone or purchase one of these. I have the ZHP 6 speed. I really like it. It is shorter than the stock knob and is weighted.

Just wrap a couple of turns of insulating tape round the gear stick, and then re-fit, it is a friction fit.

I wouldn't use any sort of adhesive.

I do have the ZHP knob. I upgraded from the factory one and both have slippage. I'll go with the insulated tape, thanks guys.
