How rare is your Z?

Mine is the only one I know of with a turbo instead of a back box. And it’s the only one painted it’s perticular shade of blue. So I will clame the title of the rearest zed thanks.

But according to the Z4 list on here it’s one of 12 titanium/Syrah Si Roadsters registered in UK .. so unlikely to bump into another one .. that’s assuming all 12 still exist
How do you get it down to individual colours rather than just the model?

Pretty rare really going by the database "tonyz4c" put together!

Based on that the UK got only 4 Montego Blue Sport Coupes with Pearl Grey Leather and Cirrus Aluminium trim, and mine is 1 of them. :)
Where can we find this database you mention?

I work with this sort of data as part of my job.

The problem with the data used by How Many Left is it's based on the description of the vehicle the DVLA hold which is never that accurate and often isn't granular enough (it may not separate by transmission, no. of doors, etc). The data comes from a spreadsheet freely available on the Gov website... https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/all-vehicles-veh01#table-veh0120 which is updated every quarter.

There are lots of other reports in there too. Quite interesting if you like that sort of thing. For example VEH0130 gives an insight into the rate at which EV sales are starting to accelerate (although still a small percentage of overall sales).

Thatcham (the people who test immobilisers and trackers) maintain a list of every vehicle out there with model specific granularity. Unfortunately, they aren't able to append sales data. Too much to wish for I guess.

says there are only five of mine left on the road??! I doubt that as its a 2007 3.0si ragtop!

You sure you're not reading it the wrong way round?! I think the row you're referring to is saying 5 were registered by the end of 2007, 43 by the end of 2008 and 63 by the end of 2009. Currently 56. I can see 4 are SORN'ed... so 60 in total, meaning only 3 have bitten the dust so far!

Only 5 Ruby Blacks with Champagne and Piano Black Dash in the UK from 2006
