I swim once or twice a week plus I play badminton regularly - singles and doubles. I used to play competitively but now just for fun - although its still bloody competitive
As for diet - I eat what Mrs Marlon cooks, which means I eat very healthily. She's a veggie (although she does cook fish for us) and prepares everything from scratch: curries, pasta, lasagne. On the rare occasions that we eat out I can binge on whatever I like without getting fat
mrs marlon sounds like a catch :D

:) she's high maintenance  (but worth it)

I always wonder how many of us actualy work. People comment all day haha. Il be honest in in the RAF and I've worked 10 days since 11th Dec and 4 of those were half day haha.

I work at the computer all day - so I can multi-task

Walk the dog every morning before work, a good hour round the park. Then gym in the evenings3-4 times a week and maybe a swim or two thrown in. Weekends, more walking. I try and keep a balance because I love my food and drink but after turning 30 I can no longer eat and and drink all that I want without consequences so now have to work a bit harder to keep the weight off.

Saying that, I'm not fat, I'm 5ft 10, 30" waist and weight just over 11 stone. I use the gym because I have an office job and I go after work. I don't live by the sea and don't have mountains or vast stretches of rugged landscape in my back garden so it works for me.

I'm a manager for a web development company so always on my computer, I don't really do work unless I have a consultation/presentation

4 x 1hr sessions a week (Boxing, Weights, Bootcamp) and then maybe a short run once a week as the knees are like the original springs on a Z!

Eat healthy during the week so I can enjoy my weekend, not looking to be super fit, just avoiding getting fat as I approach 40

Always on a PC at work, so need a distraction

My misses gets really annoyed. I am actually going to do some work next week. Maybe.

I am 75 years old, and my wife and I walk around the block daily, two miles up and down significant hills, except when it is colder than -15C (as it is at the moment). My weight is within 2 pounds of what it was on my wedding day fifty years ago. This would be OK if it was still distributed in the same manner - but alas, it is not. My plan is to lose a couple of pounds in the spring while claying and waxing my Z4.

I rise at 5.45am and walk my dogs for 30mins. Arrive at work 8am. On my feet 8.5 hours in the warehouse. Home at 5pm. Walk the dogs again for 30mins. That's enough for me !

Sort of a natural outcome of events really. Joined a startup in 1997 (before startups were cool) as sole developer. Turned around a crap prototype into something that worked. Got taken over in 2000 & parent company mothballed product and made us redundant in 2001.

Sooo, took the fairly brave move of starting a new company & bought back the IPR of the product for £1. (Brave because we got married, bought a house and were expecting our son in that year too).

I changed the focus of the product, sold a few and I'm still here :)

Walk pups twice a day about a mile each time
And do training in the pool 6 times -i'm a old man competitive masters swimmer albeit on the slow side -fly and free are my main strokes

Started running about 12 months ago, found it a really hard to start bu now run 5 miles (8K) 3-4 times a week, feel much fitter than i did 10 year ago

4-6 days/week at the gym - 75 mins weightlifting/bodybuilding.
1 or 2 MTB rides of ~20-30 miles per week.
1 or 2 sessions on the Concept2 erg at about 2-3k.
Low carbs on non/lighter lifting days, more carbs on heavy lifting days.
Due to elbow injury & steroid injection in shoulder, I'm in the middle of a two week layoff from lifting, and it's bloody horrendous :o(
Oh, and does mucking out & stables duties 1st thing in the morning & the occasional horse ride count too ... ?

Mucking out the stables certainly counts.

Pushing weights doesn't though.

Jealous, I can't pool swim any more due to allergies. Used to love my pool swimming, though I was never competitive, nice and warm and great training for the winter surf. :D

What age group and times?

I walk the dogs for an hour every morning, I also play squash at least 4 times per week but as I'm turned 60 I must admit it's getting harder all the time .
Can't wait for the warmer weather as it gives me the opportunity to clean the Z ,normally takes about 5 hours at a time minimum , the beauty about being retired . Occasionally get out and about with the 3 amigos in the Z's but that's brain and coordination exercise.

Was un well for a year or so and put on weight. Was 9st 4 before but now 11st and feel fat.
Have started running again and use fitness app on phone. Thought it would be easy but wears me out every time. It must get easier soon surely lol

haha just about to post how often I trained then thought this looks familiar, maybe I've posted before... turns out I started the thread 2-3 years ago

Im up to 5 times a week now.
