How often do you do it in the winter ?

If the weathers nice enough to get the Zed out of the garage, then it's nice enough to put the roof down. So basically I have it down all the time I'm driving it. 8)

Twas a beautiful day last Sunday. Roof down dawn till dusk, apart from when I was washing the car, after the PH run out. :D

Don't do what the nodgers were doing in their BM's in London on Saturday night. Driving around with the tops and windows down in just t-shirts at 10.30. Why, it's freezing and it's dark. Don't get that one...

However, on a cold crisp day (preferably sunny) then it will go down.
If you're dressed for it (even without heated seats) you should be fine.

Keep the windows up and the heat on and you should stay fairly toasty. Surely that's the point of a convertible...

People say the magic number is 13 degrees before the hood comes off....

:o Not heard that one before. Crums! the Scotts contingent, would all have to buy Coupes for the summer.

Just buy a decent woolly hat. Oh and keep it bellow 3 digits, or it may vanish rearwards.

I only heard that when I was down in Nottingham funnily enough but as long as it's not raining I like to take the roof off. I have been known to drive with it off when it's snowing too and you don't have get some funny looks!

Weathers been bitter recently but I've been taking it for drives at lunchtime with the roof down, folk at work do a double take not sure if that's because I've the roof down or because they can't believe its my car lol.

I carried over my roof habits from my MX5s - if it's not tanking with rain the roof goes down. For me winter is the best time for open top motoring, I love it especially at night. The only exception is when my lad comes out with me in the Zed, he always opts top leave the hood up. I think it's in case any of his mates see him out with his old chap :)

Long as weather is dry clobber up well and enjoy, during lengthy bad spells will fire her up just to keep bores and rings lubricated and down and up top couple of times to keep things loose with engine running on fast tickover plus an over night boost with optimiser. Cheers Baz :driving:
