Morning guys.
Lovely day on Saturday so decided to wash the E89 after several weeks of ownership and only noticed during the initial rinse that there is no 'Z4' badge on the rear! The original owner did delete the model designation (I only have the M badges on the front wings) but didn't realise that the rear badge also gets deleted. Quite like the symmetry of the rear with only the BMW badge on it.
Pity its bl00dy 1155ed down all day Sunday and today! Typical!

When I got mine the previous owner had stuck an M badge on the boot instead of the Z4 … foolishly I posted a pick. Some type on here had both a hissy fit and an attack of the vapours and is probably still getting counselling for post traumatic stress disorder! The badge went after a couple of weeks and I replaced it with a Z4 badge … cost 30/40 quid from Germany! Because I think people should do what they like to their own cars rather than be dictated to by anal keyboard warriors I had half a mind to stick 4 x Ms on the boot and send a pic of that! I don't notice anyone getting upset when people replace their front or rear bumpers with M kit. Funny lot Z4 owners … should stick to polishing …

The central bmw badge swivels when pressed and unlocks the boot and also acts as the handle
