How noisy should the clutch be?

My car did this brand new. I don't think it's a worn bearing rather the dual density clutch itself. In another couple thousand miles, she's due for another service (air cleaner, etc) and I'll mention it then or at the Ultimate Drive, whichever comes first.

judging from their explanation and from others on the different forums, i'm inclined to think it's not a big deal. thrust bearing likely slightly worn, but that is expected if you drive the car.
Yes! the explanation you got sounds right on a Z with 50000+ miles maybe, but not on 8000 miles..

I remember mine doing it at fairly low mileage (less than 10,000)...still does it today at 40,000, and still sounds the same now as it did then
