Good price if you ask me. Only 588 M coupes in the UK. About time the prices starting increasing :)

The coupe was a few k less though, doubt it would be more than 41 at the time.

Paid £37,500 for mine as an ex-demo in 2007. What a waste.

They would if you insured it for a specific value, but you'd pay through the nose for it.

That's not true. I have insurance for my Z3MC on an "agreed valuation" policy and it doesn't cost anymore than if it was just a straightforwards "comprehensive" policy. The BMWCC does the valuation for £40 and the insurance company agree the valuation for the next 2 years.

Really ? I stand corrected.

Do you think the BMWCC would value this at £40k though ? :? :D

Yes. The guys who do the valuations are members of the BMWCC, and as true enthusiasts (anoraks!) they follow all the sales ads on Pistonheads, Autotrader etc. as closely as everyone on this forum, and are aware of all the sales. In the light of the very quick sales of the recent low mileage Z4MCs (Alpine White and Sepang Bronze) the Imola Red one at £40k fits perfectly.
