Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but if it has I missed it...
On AT, nice looking E85 3.0si for £18k :o

OK it's 58 reg, and only 15k miles, but still. :o
And there's no MFSW, no PDC, no cruise, and no xenons....

Just because it's low mileage doesn't mean it'll not have to get the bushes changed, dodgy springs changed etc. It'll suffer from the same problems as all the rest.

Possibly an SI spec'd car but without the MFSW etc. Or wrongly registered SE with the upgraded seats.

Extremely over priced.

Save your money as you'll never get £18k back on it.

Get a 3.0 si with higher mileage as it'll be just over 1/3 of the price of you're lucky.

And also makes a mockery of the AT pricing/valuation system when it says it’s only £1200 overpriced.

Nice car but no way is it worth anything close to that imo

Things are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. I always take autotrader valuation with a pinch salt, they are based on a few snippets of information and an algorithm. They also rely on the sellers absolute honesty. Is a bit like the price 'we buy any car' offer you (It is a number that bears no resemblance to the figure you will actually get if you follow the process to the end).

That's crazy money. :o

You could get a really good MR for less than that!

Cars with such a low mileage aren't worth buying if you want to use them, and why else would you buy one? :?

A car like this will only appeal to a very small market, so from the sellers point of view they could be sitting on this for a long time…. However the argument is where will you find another one with that mileage and condition… , it wouldn’t be a car for me personally as I would fear devaluing it by putting mileage on it, but someone will happily tuck it away doing a few hundred miles a year!

Si refers to eng8ne only, nothing to do with trim level.

Si relates to engine, nothing to do with trim level.

Should have said SI car without MFSW and parking sensors from the factory.

Some cars were registered wrong.

Is that an SI engine in pic 37?

For a car with 15k miles it does have a lot of swirls on the lacquer.

Do we smell something fishy that's a fish shaped fish?

Go for an M for £15k.

All the facelift 3 litres are 3.0Si, that's just the engine designation. Like all pre-facelift 3 litres were 3.0i.

Trim levels were SE and Sport, but given it's described as a Sport and has the M-Sport steering wheel and seats plus MV2 wheels it probably is a Sport.

But it's still way too dear, especially with a fairly basic spec. :o

Damn... I know E46 M3s have shot through the roof for nice examples but this is taking the p*ss a bit haha.

As Iinnex said e30s have been nuts prices for years e36/46 have been going up for some time, it won’t be long until e85/6 are doing the same.

There are 3.0i facelifts, with the same engine as the 3.0si but with a different intake manifold and only 215hp. There aren't many though.
