So I was at the dealer yesterday and saw a beautiful pre-owned M5 for sale.
Year: 2006
Model: M5
Trim: Super-Sedan
Mileage: 49298
Engine: 10 Cyl. 5.0
Trans: Sequential Manual Gearbox
Exterior Color: Black Sapphire Metallic
Interior Color: Black Perforated Merino Leather
Sticker price: $45,995
I'm sure the price is negotiable, but the one thing about this car that stood out was the strong smell of cigarettes! The previous owner must have smoked in this car constantly. Keep in mind that this is after the dealer has done their cleaning! The smell is still very strong. Anyway, It made me wonder "At what price would I actually consider purchasing a car like this?" Did I mention this is not a CPO car and was offered "AS IS - NO WARRANTY". I'm thinking it would need to be less than $30k for me to even consider it. The same dealer has a Certified Pre-Owned 2006 M5 with only 35K miles listed for $50,995
