How much to expect for my wind deflector?

Mine had the BMW wind deflector in the boot, but I personally never use it. So what bits do I need to strip off to sell as a complete kit? As by the roll bars there are bits which it slips in to, so doubt they are on every z :?

And the bits in the boot for storage. And what can I expect money wise?

Cheers peep, funds for wheels needed

Well you'd have to take both sets of roll bar covers off, the channels they fit into and the carrier in the boot. That would make a set. Problem is you'll almost certainly break the roll hoops and would need non winbreak replacements. Those would cost more than the value of the kit you'r selling.

Personally I'd keep it all for the day you sell as a valuable accessory, even though you don't use it.

I'd just sell the mest and boot carrier if you must sell and at a guess £50 if it's undamage.

Umm not worth it then. Will see as I've seen some of these hoop covers, and may do it :D

It's about as much use as a chocolate teapot - so it's not worth much!

Do you really think that? I find it amazing, and the missus never winges that her hair gets messed up lol
Just I hate leaving it in, do goes in the boot and never comes out really.

Well worth getting one if you don't like the wind in your face. But I do :P

I agree with you that it's highly effective, but each to their own opinion.

This has been discussed in another thread.

My previous MX5 had a flip up wind deflector which was only 4" high.
Yet this ridiculously tiny object was twice as effective as the huge fishing net that I now have behind me. :headbang:
It's pathetic!
