How much oil your N52s "burn"?

Just a curiosity, I am NOT complaning at all !
Bought my Zet in 2013 with 35 kkms, now 110k. Since 2013 running on 5w-40 (regularly at redline, though).
Between 35k and approx 90kkms my N52 took up to 0,5l per season ie. 3-8kkm.
Now it "burns" (no oil leakage anywhere) full liter each (approx) 3kkms.
I am being curious - how much oil burn your engines N52B25 or N52B30?
My other car (I used to have a company´s 330i with N52, now gone) burnt full liter each 1000kms from 65 to 240kkms, then it got worse = a liter per 300-500km (due worn Alusil, a generic problem for whole N52 family prevalently occuring somewhere between 200 and 300kkms).
My consequent extensive Google search concluded: "There are some N52´s which burn oil, whilst others simply do not take anything".
 
My 2007 2.5si with the N52B25 engine uses up 1litre of oil every 1400 miles or so which is about 2200 Km I think. Used to be a lot better but probably needs new valve stem seals by now as its done over 145,000 miles.

My 3.0Si used 1.25 litres in 7,000 miles between 82K and 89K miles.

My 330i with the same engine uses a lot more, but it has been getting advisories for a minor oil leak on the MOT test most years since 2018. It has had new gaskets on the valve cover and oil filter housing but I haven't investigated further than that - regular top ups are cheap!
 
My Z4 2.5i N52 has used 600ml in 6000 miles. All the usual leaks were fixed before these figures. Had an E90 with a 3.0 N52, at 70k miles was using a litre every 3k miles. The Z4 has done 93k miles so quite a difference. Following research, considered to be normal in both cases.
 
23i 1 litre in 5000 miles which i normally top off at 4k and change at 5k.
My daily drive to work about 8 miles, so not surprised at oil burn.
 
My 3.0i is on 50,000 or so and doesn’t seem to burn any oil. I have never had to top up between oil changes but part of me wishes we could have an old fashioned dipstick rather than rely on electronics; being able to manually check would be reassuring.
 
Ring contamination especially with cheap fuels is an issue….or cheap oil

Valvoline clean and protect ?
