hi everyone i've been looking at selling my car and been to a few garages,
its a interlargos blue with 24k miles just had inspection1 3 weeks ago, its got nearly every extra on except the heated seats which is daft considering its the roadster, its a 06/56 reg and is very clean with no marks on it at all.

can anyone help as the offers i've had for part x seem low and wanted to check if its just me.

I'm a new owner so fresh from looking at the second hand market. I'd say 18k on the nose. Maybe a bit more because your just had inspection 1.

Performance cars are in the toilet now I'm afraid. For example a 58 Plate 3 month old M3 with under 2k miles is yours for £40-£43k (new, £56k). All performance cars are therefor a complete steal at the moment, so you will get a very low price...I've seen early Roadsters from £17k. However on the plus side as long as you aren't downgrading you should save loads on the new car too!

Half eaten pack of monster munch and a toffee crisp... oh if only I were joking.

The thing you have on your side is that it is hard to find a good one. There are lots out there with very little warranty left and a service pending but dealers still want 20k for them.

£17415 according to Parkers on £20k unadjusted for extras.
P/ex of course depends on what oyhu are looking to buy and the margin. P{ex will be low but the trad up is likely even a greater drop so it's the price to trade that really matters.

Have you been to Sytner in Sutton given it's only a few miles from you?

cheers guys i was looking at an evo 360 as i had a subaru sti before and want to have a bit more room as i'm going back to le mans in the summer.

i had an offer of 20k in november but was not in the position to buy then and i went 2 weeks ago and got offered 16k and was not sure to try and hold out for more or even wait till march when the better weather comes and hope that the price will be better for the convertable?

i feellike this at the minute :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I was told 18k for my Sep 06 Z4 M Coupe with 18.5k miles last week...it's not worth thinking about changing at these trade in prices!

Test drove an M6, got back in the Z4 M Coupe and realised it was more fun anyway!!!!

:driving:

You could wait a month or two and have a try at a private sale. You should get £18/19K if it's it top condition and just had inspection 1. I assume it's also had a new set of tyres along the way. There's always gonna be people looking to buy Z4Ms as they are such incredible value for money at the moment (unfortunately for those trying to sell!)

This is Glass's valuation, which is used by the motor trade. Be warned though, it doesnt make for happy reading! :( http://www.virtual-showroom.co.uk/scripts/nuvv/nuvvV.asp?laf=VAUXHALL&clientId=VAUXHALL&nuvvPath=B&modelId=108533&valuationId=647578&manufacturerDesc=BMW&rangeDesc=Z4&qualifyDesc=3.2+M+Roadster+Convertible+2d+3246cc&derivativeDesc=3.2&bodyDoors=2&bodyTypeDesc=Convertible&fuelType=Petrol&trimDesc=M+Roadster&transmissionTypeDesc=Manual&cubicCapacity=3246&fuelDelivery=Multi-Point+Injection&fuelAspiration=Normally+Aspirated&transmissionSpeedDesc=6+Speed&transmissionDriveDesc=Rear+Wheel+Drive&yearplate=2006%7C56&mileage=24

I'd be happy to beat that as a price, assuming the car met the criteria for excellent (which I am sure it would). Just need the OP to get in touch now...

I just missed this one http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/BMW+Z4/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-240-4294965351-4294967202/advert.action?R=200906328318643&distance=9&postcode=cv345lb&channel=CARS&make=BMW&model=Z4&min_pr=&max_pr=&max_mileage=&vehicleYearOfManufacture=2006&vehicleRegLetter=

I spoke with the chap who traded it in, he got £18500 in p/x at a BMW dealership. So, perhaps Glasses is a little pessmistic?

Heres the CSL Roadster link

Re Glasses guide prices I wouldnt take much notice. Anything remotely unusual they just seem to make it up as they go along. I recently sold a VX220 for 8k when the glasses guide price is about 5k!

Cheers for that. Just put an offer in. Sensible mileage and not a million miles away from me so I can probably view quickly.

I'm not a fan of the wheels but I'm sure people on here will be falling over themselves to swap! :D

I wanted Hi-fi professional also but that's an easy retrofit I would guess (off the search these forums for that subject now!)
