How much for a wing?

Lifer
Hi all,i found out tonight from bmw bodyshop to sort my wing out will cost £410,but they have told me it has some filler in it so i was thinking on my way home how much would a new/breakers wing be to buy and respray-thanks

I am like others, and start worrying about you.

If BMW approved bodyshop takes out the job and the result is not perfect or as described, you can go back and complain. I always receive email from BMW UK for my feedback after my car is returned from the dealer.

Don't waste any more money. A brand new front wing will probably cost £400-£500. Then it needs paint and fitting.

So youre saying i should just let them do it mate?

They will use filler to re-position the badge, or for something else? Filler can only be used to level out small dents, and cannot be too thick anyway. Give the job to them if they will respray the whole wing and put the badge right for £410. Remember to mention that you need orange peel effect to match the other side.

Thanks -its just that the word filler has a 'stigma' attached to it for me,always sounds 'botched'-i know bmw bodyshop will do a good job as they did my rear arches on my e46.

get them to lead it then :)

BMW bodyshop have told me my paint is sinking into the filler  -causing lines to be seen -looks like its a new wing route.
