My front runflats have 6mm of tread left on them, but I may well be changing all 4 tyres soon. How much would I get back for my runflats? (The 225s)

I just chucked mine in the skip when I got the Falkens, assumed nobody would buy 2nd hand Runflats

I'm definitely not chucking them in the skip with 6mm on them - Would definitely want some money back for them!

You might want to keep them then should you ever trade into a dealers you can put them back on, else they may discount to tprice for not having RFT's on it.

If no space, need the cash, no dealers, etc then I'm sure they have to be worth £50 each to someone

Hmmm, £50 is pretty naff for almost new tyres that have got to be around £180 new. Maybe I'll just stick 2 new RFTs on the back...

I sold a set from my 120d and when I went to trade in (cos I still hated it), they knocked £700 off the trade in price. I think I'd sold the set for £200, can't remember. They do look for 5mm min tread depth.

As CJ said keep them until you sell, that's what I have done as a BMW main delaer will have to put Run Flats back on and will price you car accordingly.

Pretty pointless though, as I won't neccessarily trade it in, and the rears have 2mm left, so will only have fronts to give them anyway!

I think I'd want £75 for them. I think that's fair, considering how much life is left.
