Interested to find out how many Z4s you guys have owned in your time, and what your reasons are for changing or upgrading!
 
In 2006 I had a 2003 2.5 se with 10,000 on the clock.

Got shot of it for a 2007 Audi S3 in 2008 although I did look at the E86 Hatchback before deciding it wasn't for me.

Now with the 3.0 SI Roadster for the last 4 years.
 
Just the one. :D Eight years now. :wub: Why would I want to change her. :driving: :wink:

For context, I have had four D.D's over that period.
 
I'm currently on my 10th with 3 sat outside at the moment.
(The Alpina, the Wife's E89 and a little 2.0 E85 I'm using for commuting.)

First was the E86 Se.

Mrs. Merbrook then decided she wanted a soft top so we sold the Coupe for the Alpina.

And we then decided that we wanted another coupe again so got this one as well.

Good read, I’m slightly above average as the 6th owner on my (first) E85.
 
I’ve owned the same one twice! Bought it new in 07, sold it in 2010 and bought it back n 2018!
 
Two for me. An 07 E85 to start and now onto a 56 plate Coupe. I was considering selling up this past week as I use it maybe 3 times a month on average. However I’ll only regret it and look for another if I ever do.

1. Sterling Grey 3.0 SE Roadster

3 E89's.

Got a bit bored with them eventually, so I had a 4 series for a couple of years (too big and boring), now I have a Porsche 718 Boxster GTS.

I'm interested to see the new Z4 in the flesh, might be tempted when the time comes to change again.
