How many Z4s have over 100k miles

now at 120k-started the car earlier today, had to turn over about 7-8 times before it started...lol...its starting to age. anyone know what the issue could be? fuel pump? starter? battery? doesnt get driven often.

Z4 2005/E85, bought new, my only car and I drive it year round, now 180,000 miles, runs great, no major issues at all. I live in Boston/USA. It's been happy 13 years so far : :driving:

Fantastic achievement. A one owner car with over 180,000 miles. Well done and a testament to the car

My 2004 Z4 3.0i is at ~116K and counting. I would just say good maintenance. Doing work yourself will save you a small fortune and allow you to replace more parts (preventative maintenance) for the same price as it would cost to do a few with the labor costs of the dealership or an indy. Our engine bay's are actually really spacious, so I've found that with a youtube video or DIY guide found online replacing things are rather easy.

My 2003, 2.2 is on 117k miles.. i have only put 3k on it myself..
since my ownership It has been serviced (oil, filers, etc) replaced transmission and diff oils. The only issues in the last 9 months of ownership was a brake booster pressure sensor/switched and coolant expansion tank which I replaced myself. The hood has just stopped working.

The car is quite old, so I am expecting some things to fail.. I have Ediabas Toolset and Inpa so can tackle most diagnostics..

now at 99380, engine wise no problems, expansion tank and thermostat recently, apart from that.... oil and coolant.
