Still waiting for my ESP/Brake/ABS warning lights to be sorted and last night driving home my emissions warning light came on.

4 yellow lights equate to one very large flashing red pound sign

All was fine before I had it serviced last month!!!

You can't second guess what is triggering the emissions light without getting the code read.

You work as a doctor. I work in finance. We have an appropriate warning which covers this off

I had my emissions light as well as other warning lights come on just before my battery died on me.I had my emissions light,which the code was saying that the CAT was the problem (on a car that has only done 19,000 miles) and others reset after the new battery and it's been ok since,passed an MOT after as well.
Maybe your battery is on it's way out.A drop in voltage/amps can make fault lights come on from my experience anyway.
