How many std tyres in the Coupe boot(trunk)

Has anyone managed to cram a few of the std tyres in the M Coupe boot? I'm still running round on winters and my tyre place is approx 30miles away. Rears are near the winter tread wear bars so are no good for another winter so will ditch these in a few weeks, but I'd like to be able to get stick the two fronts in the boot which are of course the 225's, would these fit, anyone tried?

You must be able to fit 2 fronts if I can get a rear with rim in the roadster boot...one in the other seat if you have to I guess!

Not sure on fronts but I could only get one rear in mine other one had to go in the front. So probably the same.

I've had 2 x 19" wheels and tyres in mine. Tis a squeeze but definitely possible

Was transporting wheels around today (fitted some M3 19s today ) and it's one in the boot, one on the front seat from my experience...

Rug and jiggling required and they fit. That means we can get 3 in including the passenger seat...

Okay, looks like using the seat I should be able to cart two back, would rather not put one on the seat though as it'll be resting on the bolsters probably unless I can get it in the footwell. Will ensure I take an old blanket or something to well wrap it in case I cant get a second one in the boot. They're a little small in diameter than std (225*40 rather than *45) so who knows, they might just fit.

I'm telling you - they fit in the boot!!! I have done it.
