How many mince pies have you eaten so far?

Well ? it's not even Xmas day yet and how many have you scarfed down...????



It's days like this I miss my Mum, she made the best mince pies and Christmas cake....
 
I've easily got through 10/12 over the last couple if weeks... plus had 4 tiny christmas puddings last night...

How I don't grow to the size of a house this time of year I'll never know!!!
 
I went to see my old Aunty Lil who's 84.
I had a puff pastry mince pie when I was there and she gave me the others to bring home. Thought I'd have one with a cuppa.
Looked at the sell by date and it was nearly two weeks previous :o
 
Better than the old dear who gave her carer a bag of Brazil nuts. "Don't you want them my love?"

Four mini ones at godsons parents house today. Deluxe version too, as served with side order of brandy butter.

I LOVE brandy butter :)
 
Just had my first.

One of Sainsburys finest laced with brandy washed down with a nice glass of Aussie Merlot :drinkwine:
 
2 yesterday. 1 today. 6 small ones in the previous week. Currently on various salted / roasted nuts :)
 
Just about to tuck into 2 Marks and Spencer slightly warmed deep filled babies with double cream... nom nom nom...
