How many miles do you get from a tank?

500 miles a tank on a 3.0? I think that 1,000 miles a tank on my 2.0 might just be possible if I just drive downhill.

Max ive ever recorded was 395 that was sitting at 34mpg

Lowest of 240

Tom your clearly not trying hard enough. Between 190 and 300 for me. depending on how sunny it is. :D

The best I got on my 3.0 auto was 32 or 33 mpg, 1,300 mile trip, 300 of which was serious hooning, average speed upon returning home... 77 mph

In my current motor I think the OBC sits about 25/26 with the type of driving I have mostly been doing, and on the Kent/Sussex run last weekend it was reading 20.7 :driving:

Don't really care enough to have paid attention much more than that as I've adopted the opinion that by just buying a car like this I have mentally opted out of any concerns about mpg. Got enough to worry about that costs me a lot more...

Filled up yesterday, got 220 and filled up with ~9 gallons, 24.44 MPG....i'll take that

I normally see between 190 and 240, always fill up as soon as the light comes on as possible, so normally 8-9 gallons to fill.

EDIT: The car is never used for commuting, or long distance motorway / dual carriageway slogs. always for enjoyable driving. I think i'd see 26-27mpg if I commuted in it.

I don't often accurately record miles and fuel but have done on the last two, three week a Euro trips.

Gentle run thro Netherlands then German Autobahn (at Autobahn speeds), tours around Schwarzwald inc towns and cities etc and the 3.0lt E89 got an average of 32.2

Started from the UK using posh petrol then random Euro stuff.
