I must have the record as in the past year I have had 6 cars, can anyone beat my record? How many have you all had in the past year

Jings money to burn or just bad luck? I assume these cars have been sold on?? I've only had 2, my E88 a which was replaced by the E89
 
Well just before Xmas year before last I had a 325 coupe, the head gasket blow just after Xmas do then brought a cheap clio sport 172 as a run about, soon got bored of it as it was no bmw so px it for a 318 coupe, I then got bored of that as it was lacking power so px that for a 330 m sport coupe in June last year, had that till about November and had saved up enough for something kinky a bmw e60 530d m sport, at this time being 22 the insurance was high and I just brought a house so with paying over 150 a month for insurance and then over 300 a month on fuel enough was enough, so downgraded last month to a clio sport 197 and had that for 3 weeks before I got bored again as it was no bmw (should of learnt the first time) so sold that and brought the zed :)

Sounds like Car ADHD to me - I'm a bit like that with the tracks on the Cd or iPlayer - 10 seconds and then switch onto the next track. :cry:

Anyone want to open a book on how long the Zed lasts? :roll:

Only changed my car once in the last year - was a Zed for a Zed though - see below

Well it 2 hours since his post so it's probably been sold now :D
 
Iv been told by the missus I need to stop changing cars and with spring and summer approaching fast ill be sticking around for a while chaps :)

Jan 2013 i had a Transit van , Golf Gt Tdi & the Zcoupe ,

Jan / sold Transit bought Vivaro van
Feb / Sold Golf - bought 330d
May / Sold Vivaro bought Astravan
June / Sold 330d bought X3
July / Sold Z coupe
Sept / bought TT
Feb 2014 sold X3 bought Audi A6

so technically in 13 months 9 different vehicles ? :o made a profit on 3 , broke even on 3 & still got 3 so not worried about losing ££

TBH i quite enjoy the buying , fettling & selling
 
Good man! Tbh I agree I do get quite a kick out of it, I have Probs lost more money in it than you I would have thought

Hmmm ,

I sold my M roady around Christmas 2012 , then had the 3.0si, then the Z4M coupe..
Sold that,bought the Porsche C4S ..

Sold that and bought the XK at the beginning of January..

Also had to buy a new dog kennel, so Spacestar last Feb..

Technically 6 in 13months.

Im getting the itch for an XKR at the moment...
 
4 in one year for me (2012) I had :

BMW 635Csi sold Jan 2012
BMW Z4 Coupe bought Feb 2012
VW Scirocco sold Mar 2012
BMW 316ti Compact bought Apr 2012

I think Paza may give you a run for your money..

I lose big style - bought the zed three years ago intending to go on holiday with it then sell it a month or two later - still don't want to part with it
 
Not this year, but in the 14 months between April 2011 and Jun 2012 I signed a V5 document 12 times. It went like this:

Sold E36 M3 (track car)
Sold E39 540i
Bought E61 530d
Sold E61 530d
Bought E61 550i
Bought Ford Puma (winter project)
Bought E46 M3
Sold Ford Puma
Sold 550i
Sold E46 M3
Bought F11 525d
Bought Honda S2000

Still have the 525d but replaced the S2000 with my Z4M.
