How many Alloy wheels can you fit in an E85?

Hi All, before I go ahead and book a courier, interested to hear if you have ever transported alloy wheels, just the rims no tyres, in your Z4?

4x 17x7.5/8.5 rims, would have thought you could get 2x in the boot, 2x in the front passenger side.

He does say rims (no tyres i assume) and they're only 17". No chance of 2?

Iirc the boot is roughly 30" x 25" so you wouldn't fit them both in there

they were 18x8.5 front 10j rear

2 in boot

Hi Jamie, came across this post as result of a Google search. Seems to answer the question I have....do the wheels sit side by side in the boot or one on top of the other? Does the boot lid need securing / strapping down?

Paul, with your modified example you should be able to fit one in the space where the back window should be.

If all else fails. Simply wear one as a sombrero. Then he will know you are. :wink:
