How many - 2005 55 Plate 3.0i

I understand you pretty much couldn’t order a 3 0i for months prior to the facelift car in March 2006 (apparently due to emissions legislation), so from mid-2005 onwards there are hardly any cars, and even fewer 55 plate (Sep05-Feb06) ones.

So my question is does anyone have a 55 plate 3.0i as I'm curious to establish how many are on the forum?

Age doesn't matter now they are 2 decades old so even if they are rare it won't affect their value at all.

Thanks for the reply but maybe you didn't read the question or I can't use the Autotrader search function correctly - i could only find one 55 plate 3.0i and that's marked as sold.

Either way I am just interested to establish how many are on the forum.

As for value seeing as you mentioned it - although it wasn't something I was looking to establish I would have to challenge your point. In my experience the age and rareity of a vehicle do have a positive impact on value obviously along with a number of other factors such as maintenance and condition.

Live in a separate market but on the same forum still . I have a 08/2005 produced 3.0i, registered in 10/2005. Intact whippy and all.

The problem you have is it's not a M therefore it's not a rare or special enough car to demand a premium, just like how my baked beans aren't special or rare enough.

Back in the day all the owners of the last limited edition Capri, the 280 'Brooklands' thought it meant something if there's was on an E-plate instead of a D. In fact I even saw one on an F-plate.
However, they were all manufactured between the 1st and the 19th December 1986. So the late plate ones just sat in a muddy field for longer before they sold. :roll:
I think you should focus more on build date tbh.
