Did a few runs at Santa Pod this year. DTC off for sure. Feathered throttle in first then short shift to second worked best for me but it's suprisingly hard to get a clean start without excess wheelspin.
From what i have learnt from a couple of santa pod days
DTC off, and ease on the throttle.
Dont ride the clutch in the beginning unless you fancy a new one
Shift early from first... around 5k rpm (its amazing how quick first gear runs out of rpms!)
In my S2K i also let out some air in my rear tyres.. as that would spin up in every gear change!
Remove all excess weight, so passengers, rubbish in boot... minimal fuel in tank etc.

I presumed they meant 0-100KM so 62mph.
Also i am sure i my veyron in GT5 does the 0-100mph in closer to 6 seconds then 8 ... admitedly it is a video game but i take it to be real until i have been in the real thing!!!
