How long since your last hoon?

Z4 forum Moffat meet was my last hoon. 500+ miles of hooning. A702 was the highlight, awesome hooning.

Have another session booked with SWMBO on Sunday. Mad for it :driving:

My name is Brian & I wasted the last 250 miles..... However I have seen the error of my ways and am determined to make amends - a few hours ago I went to the shop, dropped the lid & left black lines exiting every roundabout. Penance paid!

Welcome back Brother Brian. You've been missed!

I was trying desperately to be a good boy - but having satisfied an unnerving psychological requirement, I feel I have now worked out what's theoretically possible; hence normal service is now resumed...

Hooooooooon Today
Hooooooooon Tomorrow
I hooooon when I want!
I hoooooon when I waaaaaant!
The sun is shining, I hoooon when I want!

... makes me think, who holds the lowest mpg record for hooning it in a Zed, happy sunny days, they've been fab since Monday down south

Worthy hooning buddy..... My Z & my buddies Exige are often to be found laying rubber anywhere from Loch Lomond to the dales.

It's a 190, so in a straight line at least the Z holds its own (anywhere above 50 I spank him), but when the going gets twisty I can't hold the Exige...

Less than 10 minutes. There's a speed camera that faces me on my way home on the opposite side (so can't get me) I love watching people disappear as I sail through.

Particularly satisfying tonight as I had some clown in a RRS dazzling me with his stupid xenons.

in two weeks time i will be terrorizing the california coast in my brand new z, cant wait!

The guy standing next to the Lotus is Britains tallest man :poke: . He is also standing next to it because he is waiting for the chiropractor and osteopath to arrive to soothe his aching spine after 10 minutes of hooning

To make things confusing though, I think on the forum, it does, as you said, generally mean "spirited driving". Everyone may have a different interpretation, but it doesn't have to be illegal driving, maybe just quick acceleration to 30mph?

Is that what a hoon is then?-breaking the speed limit?-i thought it was a spirited drive?-or are they the same?

I consider hooning to be a 'spirited' drive. Not good to condone reckless driving or racing :telloff:

I've never broken the speed limit, kinda, well, er maybe, ish :?

My name is Ian and I'm a hoon-a-holic. It's been 3 traffic lights since I last floored it and watched everyone disappear in my rear view mirror.

There was a thread a week or so ago about a Zed who'd driven 250 miles at some obscenely high miles per gallon. Thought I'd try the light right foot approach but only lasted 5 miles before I gave up! Am I alone?!?

Think that was me lol

I try not too, I blame my work boots (Steel toe)

Hahah

Haha, that's me & I'm just about 6ft. The Exige is surprisingly compliant, more so than the Z on a rough pocked road. The problem is getting in & out - contortion act required..
