Just curious to see how many of us are Z4 Old Timers... you can include consecutive Z4 ownership if you like provided there's been no gap (hence consecutive lol). I figure 5 years or more shows total commitment ;) ...and I count myself in that.

lasted just 6 months.... not bad for me actually.... lol
Similar to me I only managed 5 months with my Z4M but I seem to get bored quickly as ive only had my M3 just 10 months & that's going next week too.

Managed over 6 years in my TVR before that though...M cars just haven't lit my fire which is a massive shame.

I know mine isn't an M... but I get the same feeling... it's no doubt a lovely car... just not me.... shame...

in the last 3 years I've went thought 8 cars (I think), we'll see how long the RS6 lasts now....

had mine since 2007, picked it up with less 700 miles.... not quite from birth but near enough :-). its been a third car all its life.....however i do remember early on driving around with the roof off when it was snowing feeling like a million bucks!! lol!!! the good days.... now days i can barely find the time to pop into the garage to see it :-( this is the longest ive owned a car.....

The only car I've had over 12 months was my TT.

Just going steady now as I've not really got the cash to get a car that will match the thrills of my old TVR, I was hoping to find it in my Z4M/M3 but they just haven't delivered for me personally both great cars mind but the TVR spoilt me for thrills, i was really happy with our old E90 330d which we had for over 6 years, so just getting a E90 330i M sport as a replacement.

I've been fortunate to experience some nice motors over the years but I've also lost (or wasted) depends how you look at it plenty of money so it's time to be realistic for the time being & put my car passion on hold & see what happens in a few years time. :)

One year in December - that has gone pretty quickly. Despite an ok summer with a few weekends away only managed 3,000 miles. Have moved to within walking distance of shops/train/gym etc which has helped. It took Six months to find it. Have thought about changing but still really like it and this cold weather has brought a nice bark to the exhaust 8) I really need to double the budget to get something to replace it.

10 years last month.

Still a nice motor to drive around in and no turbos either  sometimes it's nice to have a rest, see what you are missing and then get something exciting again.

Thanks

It will be nice to experience the straight six as most say its a lovely powerplant & I've been chuffed to have experienced the S54 in the Zed the last of its kind & the S65 in the M3 again the last N/A M3.

The 330 should be a good allrounder I think... I promise not to get involved in the 3.0si Vs Z4M debate when I've experienced both powerplants!

Cheers. :)
