how long have you had your private plate?

Had mine 9 years now, was 21st b-day present from parents.
Zed is the fourth car to bear the livery X100 SJW (my initialls. Sister had same for her 21st, same numbers with her initials)

- Renault Clio 1.2 Sport - dark cherry red
- Audi A3 1.8T Sport - Silver, black leather
- BMW E46 330ci 'vert - Sapphire Black, Naturebrown leather
- BMW E85 Z4 3.0si 'vert - Midnight Blue, Pearl leather

Love the Zed, but miss that 330...
 
Had one of mine since 1998, came with a car I bought and the other I bought on eBay about 5 years ago.

Both are what I consider proper private plates (i.e. pre 1960 something).....
 
Have been toying with the idea for the Merc when it arrives, have my eye on LE02 SAR for £250

Merc? I must have missed something. I've got a couple of plates already tucked away for when I make the same move. MBE and MBS. Although I've a few years to go before I'll look right driving my own S class ;-)

MBE on an AMG E55 however, now there's a thought...
