How little, it too little?

So basically to keep it as simple as possible, I'm managed to wrangle a company vehicle so the Zed isn't used as much. This is good, and bad for obvious reasons. I've had it once where the Zed wasn't used for about 2 weeks once and the battery died (not uncommon no) but still not desireable.

So no garage or drive, as much as I'd like so battery charger systems etc. are out. My main question is, how little use, is too little? And therefore ultimately detrimental to the car? The battery being the most obvious but then other perishibles as well? I do my oils and filters regularily but it's others like the lolipops I'm worried about? Also worried when it gets wetter, any tips on how to keep damp out since it'll be driven less and won't be able to self dry if you see what I mean. Any tips, insights or past experience? All welcome :)

Doubt if the lollipops will suffer, its our potholed roads that are the problem. I have read that putting a few of those crystal water absorbers in the car helps keep dampness at bay. You can get them cheaply from Robert Dyas etc

As above 2 weeks should not kill a battery.

My Z has lived outside for 10 years with low mileage she has sat for 6 weeks and no probs just close the door and walk away.

This year she sat for around 5 weeks during the snow when I had a minor knee op and all I did was change the battery for new one as she would not start but I kept the old battery as most likely just needed charging and will do as a spare if I have to lay the car up again.

I try to drive mine at least once a week. If not driven for longer than that then the charger goes on. Don't think she has ever had to suffer more than three weeks, in one go, locked up in the garage. With out one, you are going to either need to drive the Zed at leased once a week, or find some safe means of charging on the drive. :)

So battery is only thing to worry about? I’m in a flat at the moment so no drive... not even a garage! One day! :)

The solar is a good shout  will take a look into this!

Mines got a lot of stuff so think Sat Nav, etc draws extra current. Maybe it was the lack of a proper full charge before I left it. I’m doing shorter journeys now in it, not the 100mile (return) commute!

THe nav won't make a difference, but the alarm of course will.

Other option is to disconnect the battery completely.
