How is 2015 z4 for a short driver? Wife is 5’1”

Hello, about to pull the trigger on a 2015 z4 35i, buying off Carvana and haven’t actually had a chance to sit in yet, but main concern is how my wife will fit as a driver. She’s 5’ 1” and short in the legs. Just looking for some info to help with my buying decision, thanks!

Good evening and welcome aboard.
May this be the start of a long and fruitful membership.
My wife is about 5'2" and she happily drives my E89. Plenty of adjustment in the seat height, steering wheel reach etc.
However, you need to sit your wife in one first. Whilst the driving position can be adjusted, the length of the bonnet cannot, so she needs to be sure about that.
Whereabouts are you?
Maybe someone nearby could let you try theirs for size first?

Really it comes down to how good the deal is on the car versus the cost to change the wife.

Welcome. My Fiancée is barely 5 foot, and although she has yet to drive my G29 we have set up a seating/driving position she will be comfortable with.

And now you have a 5ft fiancee?
Is that the definition of 'short-changed' ?

Anyway back on track welcome to the forum OP.

I hope your wife can find a driving position she is comfortable with, but if not it just means you get to drive it more!

Plus one more shorty at 5'5 1/2". As they say all the best things come in small packages. Well almost all things

Yes, [ref]john-e89[/ref], but I'm Scottish which more than makes up for it.

As my old aunty from Greenock would say... "what I lack in height, I make up in spite!", I'm descended from a long line of nasty wee mean Scottish people!.... and my other half hates the Z4 with a passion and is always planning its demise! if you do get an E89 make sure it has PDC

Does the 35i have memory seats? One touch and everything’s back in the right place.
Don’t forget to do a proper introduction with photos when you take delivery of it :D

You can always sit her on your knee when you’re driving, then you both get to share the experience. :D

OP.
My wife is same height, and has short legs. She fits absolutely fine. Our car is an E89 and has manual seats.
The E89 is a much better fit for shorter people than tall people anyway.

PS. There are some very silly people on this forum, just ignore them. I do.... :D
