Noticed this today, I’ve owned this particular Zed for 11 months and never seen it before

I've asked about that thing before, turns out it's to hold a mobile phone (pre iPhone days) and a charging cable comes down from it to the charging port. Mine now houses my tyre pressure gauge, it fits perfectly.

i removed mine last year, just 2 screws and it was simple enough for me to diy
