How good are your heated seats?

I Rode as a passenger in my car the other day, and I noticed that none of the heating on the passenger side was as good as the drivers side.

The heated seat wasn't as warm, the feet vents weren't as warm/powerful and neither was the main vents!

Has anyone else noticed this ?

not heated seats, but comfort related so I'll post it here

Anyone noticed the foot vents blowing cold air? I have it all on 'auto' and when I start driving, it starts blowing cold air over my legs after a few minutes. I guess thats the same as it is on other BMWs, but I notice more because the footwell is smaller therefore the vents are closer to my legs/feet?

There are so good, I thought I'd wet myself at one point!

Alfa GTV-V6 - quite good actually bottom only
Z3 3.0i - Good, 2 heat settings
Z4R 3.0i - V.Good - All round heat
135i - Rubbish the seats never got warm - but then i didn't have that option ;)
Z4MC - V Good, probably better than the Z4R because they seem to heat quicker.

the heated seats get too hot, on setting 3 its near uncomfortable but lovely on one of those winter -3 drives, mine heat up seriously quick to!! great feature, i love my and use them pretty much every drive in the cooler months!!

Mine heat up quickly on the 2003.3.0SE i have

But setting 3 is way to high and i don't see anyone actually using it no matter how cold.

Setting one is fine,But i don't really use them that much tbh...And most my passangers say it makes them feel like useing the bathroom for a number 2...lol

Intersting comparison

I think the difference between Z4R and Z4MC is in your imagination. They all use the exact same heating element:

Quite possibly, you know what it's like when you have something new - its always better then what you've had before.
