How far can the seats recline in the Z4 coupe?

Hey guys,

Being a fairly tall guy I find it more comfortable have the seat reclined fairly low. How far would you say the seats can recline? I'm correct to believe that the limited space will not give fully flat reclined seats if the seat was moved totally forward. Don't worry I don't drive like that, just curious to see how far they would go down.

Many thanks
Ish

About 25 degrees is all you'll get.

If you were to drive like that, you'd have you're knees around the steering wheel and would need a mirror on the roof to see over the dash :o

I'm 6'3" (and a fatass) and I fit the coupe surprisingly well on my test drive.

The key is to set the seat about half-way back then drop it to the floor. Then go back until it stops. If you go fully back first, you lose about 1.5 inches of drop.

I guess I'm just the opposite. I like a fairly upright position and with the M seats it's perfect. Frankly, the seat angle you can get in the coupe is the same as with the roadster. The cockpits are the same.

If that's what you wanna do, maybe reconsider the coupe ;)

^^^...now, I'm NOT speaking from experience, but mathematically speaking of course would suggest that the Roadster might suit one better in *certain* circumstances...ahem... :tumbleweed:
