How do you use an ipod in the Z?

Seen links with Auxillary in. Do you then control the music using the ipod or the stereo?

Does the nav give track listings?

Anyone got any pics of ipod intergration on the NAV?
 
Reading through it now (94 pages).

Found some links to something called intravee, looking at that now.

Basically trying to work out whether or not nav is worthwhile for the ipod use, or whether standard stereo displays the same information.
 
All stereos (BMW) will display some amount of information from the intravee/dension gateway/dice etc but obviously with the nav you see much more just because of screen real-estate!
 
you can use the "search" to use an ipod in the car :rofl:

I have an intravee.. but imo if you dont have the Nav then i save some money and get a dice or BMW version instead.
 
in fairness there are quite a few options and it also depends on what you currently have.

i've been on here awhile although tend to lurk more than post and am still a little confused as to all the options.

might be a nice addition to the forum to have an overview of possible combinations advantages / disadvantages of each. but that would need someone who nows what they are talking about putting something together - which rules me out!
