Whats the issue with the brake light? first I've heard.
It was an issue on the Z3 as I've just forked out £300 for a new wiring loom as they tended to kink and the loom wires snap, so no brake light or central locking.

Not sure if that is an e89 issue Tim - definitely an issue on the e85 where the nuts and springs holding th light in can be too tightly done up, causing pressure that weakens the plastic... Which can be turned to a crack from slamming the boot. Though TBH I think the design means it will crack in the centre or at the ends in time anyway unless the springs are changed and the nuts loosened.
