How do you say interlagos?

Ive heard a couple of people recently refer to my interlagos blue and they say it differently to me.

I say it inter 'lay' gos, like lay a carpet. They've said it inter 'lar' gos, like larger. :D

Is there a correct version?? :?

In ter lay goss

That's how I'd say it. But is there a correct pronunciation to anything? It all depends on who you speak to.

You say Inter-lay-gos, I say Inter-lar-gos

You say Vreed-es-teen, I say Vred-es-tine

Inter-lay-gos, Inter-lar-gos

Vreed-es-teen, Vred-es-tine

Lets call the whole thing off :D

Dreamer, if you start saying "inter-lah-goose", for consistency you should also start saying "shompangnier" leather.

You dont pronounce the 'S' ste?? Brilliant!

We can add a silent S to the pronunciation now, love it :D

Makes it a nightmare trying to order stuff from argos like :)

Nah in all seriousness, it's actually pronounce "Inter-lar-gus" with the gus quite a hard sound somewhere between "ghost" and "goose"

LOL Ste :D

I clearly need a new accent to go with the car. Im going to pretend im south american, maybe put a bottle of bronzer and stick on moooostache in the glove box to pull this of :D

I lived in Tenerife for half a year, and every now and then come out with random words in a spanish or southern english accent 8)

You could always just get a bird with a shaven downstairs, and/or invade the falklands.
