How do you remove the trim under steering wheel?

Hello all :)

How exactly do you remove the trim under the steering wheel? I want to see if I have the cruise control loom.

Any help with this would be great!

Release the steering column adjustment lever... and there is one screw holding the lower cowl on. Remove screw and then just unclip (not hard) the cowl....

job done :D
 
Thanx gannet you were spot on! I have got it off now :)

I can't seem to find the wire! I have quoted your picture in the other thread of what I'm meant to be looking for if you could help with that as well :D:D

is a pain aint it!

Doesn't mean it can't be retrofitted though as the kit I got from the dealer included the wiring loom (since sold...), just that little bit harder :(
 
I've taken mine of before and IIRC once you have the bottom cowl off there are a couple of screws or torx holding it on. Once undone you unclip it from the leatherette cover along the line that '3' points close to
