How do you quit an App?

Got a notification for a new App, News, so clicked to accept it and starting getting news through the speakers.

For the life of me I could not find how to quit the app. Eventually I went into car play and put music on, stopped that sand quit car play and that worked

So the question is, how do you quit an app?

You can’t. I have only found to either switch the car off and on or to disconnect the blue tooth from the phone.

Right pain when the Waze app freezes and you can’t force quit it.

Could try using the car for fun driving and your phone for apps?
:poke:

Look, just because your car still has a starting handle is no reason to decry modern machinery. :poke:

Surprised he knows what apps are considering that the L
latest phone that works in his car is a Nokia 3210 :poke:

So I have set up a shortcut on one of my numbers to turn off Bluetooth. Then I press it again to turn back on and that sorts out the connection and waze freeze up.

Let me try that again as I wanted to do that but for some reason it didn’t seem to want to store the action. Good to hear that it is possible though

I thought you could quit an app by loading something else. e.g. press the media button and select a radio station. I know that's a bit of a wrong way to exit an app but it works.

Not for me, when info back to CarPlay it is exactly like it was before I left it
