How do you post images?

Hi all

I was wondering. I've just joined the forum. In my first "hello" thread, I've tried to post an image, but it doesn't show?
I put an image into Dropbox, and copied the URL for it to upload. Was that the right idea!? (God, I hate technology )

Or, will it be that I've only just started to post threads

I'm picking a car up from Scotland, and spending a couple of days driving it around, before coming home. I'd love to post some images of that (although, they'll be very wet ones We need some sunshine now, please )

Bellow the reply box click on the Add Files Button. You should then be able to search your device and choose the file file. Ensure the cursor is where you wish to insert the file and click on Place inline. Finally click on Post Reply.

In terms of the URL, it has to be a direct to image URL not just copy pasting the URL from the browser window. Otherwise you are in effect pointing the link to a webpage, not the actual image. Sounds like that is the problem? I dont use dropbox but maybe as it isnt a designated image hosting site more of a document storage site, that breaks the upload here?

I read your post before joining , your a clever chap, id like to pick your brains on z4 roof maters lol , just learning how to navigate the forum atm
The z4 just come back from a garage and was in transport mode which is off now , Ive took screen shots the code details , never owned a car with so many sensors LOL
