my dash is showing that I require an "inspection" to be done soon but its not telling me if its a 1 or 2. how do I know?

thanks!

Service book stamps will tell you. Order is Oil/Inspection 1/Oil/Inspection 2/Oil/Inspection 1... etc.

Yep, every 4 services - although, if you look at it being time-based, the servicing would be every 2 years so it would be 8 years between Inspection2's.

Personally, I have an oil service every year as an addition (not stamped in the book as it's done by an Indy with BMW parts I purchase) - so mine has an additional oil service between each of the 2-year service points, which are stamped by a BMW dealer.

Only every 4 services if your doing the miles. It's possible to have 2 or 3 oil services between inspections if like me your only doing 2k per year.

Yeah, I do it every 2 years regardless of miles. Mines slightly over-serviced that way :)
