How do you find out the original list price?

More intreged than anything. My car has nearly every option bar satnav, I'd love to know what it cost when it was new!
I know there is a site for finding the exact spec/options it came from the factory with, is there any way of finding the cost new?

Obviously there's no receipt in the glovebox!

2004 mate, surely the price is individual with all the extras, unless they're included in the price list too of course
 
If you're a member of Which they allow you free valuations by CAP that includes cost of options and list price when new. Or get hold of a brochure for that year for the zed?

Price lists list all option costs as well :wink:
 
Good link,wondermike...just appears to be missing the Extended leather option and the Carver/dsp hifi option at circa £900,as the 1 listed is just for the spaeker upgrades,according to my info.

My 05 3.0 didnt have Satnav,criuse or heated seats,but still had over 5k of options,lol.
BMW sure like to charge for extras,haha

The only thing I couldn't find oh the list was the red leather msport seats, wonder how much they were :?
Good to see the z4s were speced with indicators as standard unlike some other bimmers! :D
 
That makes mine over 40k then, depreciated 34k in 8 years! Bad for them, good for me.

This buying new cars business really is a mugs game!

Anyone know what price the m sport seats were?
 
£500 for M sport seats
Electric - plus £820
Heated - plus £245

So electric heated sport seats - £1,565

Though the Si Sports came with the M sport seats as standard.

So for a 2008 M Coupe the list price was £42350 without any extra's

According to Parkers here are the second hand prices......

Franchised Dealer £17,740

Independent Dealer £16,895

Private Good £15,885

Private Poor £13,815

Part Exchange £14,705

Okay... I am not yet the font of all knowledge :oops:

However, still over a grand for some electric bits !

i asked a similar question on here and someone gave me a link to an options book online

not sure on the link though....cant remember the website...

Interesting prices/values,and goes to show that extras do add value(tho not alot),as i got values of my 2008 M Roadster of between £18400 and £18700 at a dealers/ind. from CAP AND Glass',with a excellent/good private of 17300-17800,basd on condition/Spec and Mileage,and that was just 6months ago(i know it will be less now)
