How do you clean your alloys ?

I had the BMW brush kit and the plastic end piece fell off after about 18 months, luckily I noticed before I scratched the wheel. I clean mine with left over car wash and use a wax protector to keep tar and brake dust from sticking to the wheels. They come off every couple of months for a complete clean.

As above use my normal shampoo i use on the body work but i clean my alloys regularly do not let brake dust build up and bake that way there is no need for aggresive cleaners......A good wheel wax will help keep them clean.

X2. I wax my wheels twice a year after cleaning with the left over car shampoo. The wheel wax is a big help in preventing the pad dust from adhering to the wheel and will survive many car washings. A little shampoo and water is often times all you need.
