How do you browse the forum?

I always go straight into 'new posts' but was wondering if by doing this I'm missing out in any way, didn't even know 'view your topics' existed until yesterday. What is the best way to make sure you don't miss anything on here?

I do the same as you. New Posts as a regular and every now and then View Your Topics to make sure I haven't missed anything that I was interested in.

The only way to miss nothing is to give up the job! :D

Well I normally use TapaTalk. It has a "participated" section anyway which will be the equivalent of "view your topics" so I've been using that and the "timeline" section. If I am just using the MacBook I click on "new posts" like most of you above.

usually on my laptop on the sofa :D ....

just skim the e85/lounge/detailing bits. does new posts cover all comments in a post or just when it was first posted?

New posts on the web. Participated on Tapatalk. Not seen the 'view your topics' either so you learn something every day!
Edit: just clicked on 'view unanswered posts' and there's a distinct air of melancholy when you see the results. Might make it my mission to try and integrate with a few.

one thing i would like that other forums i use have is a button for active topics, sometimes i dont look at the new posts bit and when i log back in they have gone, with active topics its lists all topics with the most recent first, this way you dont miss anything you wanted to look at and can find it easily :)

I always look on the front page and if nothing takes my fancy or I'm done I then jump into the different areas to see what's going on

Start at the 'newbies' and then work my way down from there. Depending on what takes my fancy. Don't look in the E89 page so much.

Same here.
Sometimes i specifically browse the M section and the "sell Z4 related items" section, but otherwise, "new posts" covers 99% of my forum usage. :D

whaaaaat how do you all not use "view your topics" ?! its my most clicked link on the entire interwebs..

I pretty much hit that, check for any interesting replies - then manually browse forum areas of interest.

I have to admit i'm guilty of pressing "M Specific" way too much. I guess that primarily stems from things i'm doing to my Zed usually involve some sort of M-tax and i'm always interested in learning more about my specific model.

I'm starting to use "new posts" more often, so i find out more random stuff than i normally would of done.
