I've just booked the GF a train journey from Durham to Bath one way travelling six days before xmas and the total price is £35 and the train company is Virgin,i'm totally flabbergasted to how they make any profit on that ticket price. :o

The other upside is, GF+Train = me travelling solo in the Zed to Wiltshire :thumbsup:

But only a couple of weeks ago when checking the prices the cheapest was £122 :?
 
I've just booked a one way ticket from Newcastle to Glasgow direct next Saturday morning, for £20.
